From a Single Client to a 7000+ Strong Nation-Wide Network: How BizHelp is Simplifying Government Procurement in India

In a country where navigating government procurement can be a daunting task for small and medium businesses, BizHelp Technology and Advisory Pvt. Ltd. has emerged as a game-changer. What began as a response to a recurring client request in a small accounts firm in 2016 has grown into a self-funded tech-driven company managing three online platforms: bizhelp.co.in, bidhelp.co, and oemmart.in.

Founded by Amit Thakur, later joined by Pratap Sharma and Sandeep Chauhan, BizHelp has quickly become a vital support system for thousands of entrepreneurs, resellers, and OEMs who want to tap into government contracts but lack the know-how or connections.

“Government clients would often walk into my accounts office and ask about GeM tenders. That’s where the seed for BizHelp was planted,” says founder Amit Thakur. Today, the company has a 50+ members in team and is growing at a rapid pace, achieving a 84% growth in its client base within a year—from 3,800 to over 7,000 verified users across India.
With platforms like BidHelp, the company provides real-time tender notifications and end-to-end bid management services, making it easier for businesses to participate in government tenders. Its second major offering, OEM Mart, addresses a previously unmet need in the market—connecting resellers directly with verified OEMs who are active on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM).

“Before OEM Mart, there was no structured platform for resellers to find contact details or authorization from OEMs. They had to rely on Google, IndiaMART, or cold emails. Now, with OEM Mart, that gap is closing rapidly,” explains co-founder Sandeep Chauhan. The platform currently hosts over 5,000 verified OEMs spanning all major sectors, with verification conducted through documents or live video calls.
BizHelp’s comprehensive services cater to SMEs, manufacturers, consultants, and even large enterprises looking to optimize their government procurement strategies. The firm currently operates entirely on a self-funded model, with no external investment. Despite that, it generated revenue of ₹2.8 crore in the last fiscal year and is targeting ₹7 crore this year, with 35% already achieved in the first quarter.

While the company remains focused on India for now, its vision is ambitious. “We want to take BizHelp global—not just for Indian tenders but to simplify public procurement systems in other countries as well. Our goal is to become a unicorn, generate jobs, and be the go-to tech partner in B2G, B2B, and B2C procurement,” says Pratap Sharma.

From a one-man operation to a 50+ member team with proprietary platforms changing how businesses bid, BizHelp is not just a company—it’s a quiet revolution in the world of government commerce.
