Breaking Taboos: Soha Ali Khan, Krishna Shroff Join GoFloRun to Normalize Menstrual Health Talk

  • Championing Menstrual Health, Fitness, and Community – Join Thousands of Women in a Celebration of Strength and Solidarity at GoFloRun 2025

Mumbai, 10 November 2025: After the phenomenal success of its debut edition, GoFloRun — the empowering women’s fitness and menstrual health movement — is back in 2025, stronger and more inspiring than ever. Led by actor and fitness advocate Neha Dhupia and entrepreneur Anita Lobo, the initiative aims to unite women from all walks of life to embrace fitness, normalize conversations around menstrual health, and foster a spirit of community and empowerment.

This year’s main event, GoFloRun 2025, will be held on 7th December at Dome SVP Stadium, Mumbai, and promises to be an unforgettable celebration of strength, sisterhood, and solidarity.

GoFloRun: A Movement Beyond Running

What began as a simple idea — to create a safe and supportive space for women — has evolved into a nationwide movement. Last year, the event saw over a thousand women of all ages, from school students to seniors, participate with unmatched enthusiasm. GoFloRun goes beyond fitness; it’s about connection, awareness, and change.

Neha Dhupia shared,

“Last year was extraordinary — the energy, the passion, the unity. Watching thousands of women come together to break the silence around menstrual health was incredibly moving. It was equally heartwarming to see men like Sonu Sood, Siddhant Nigam, Ranvijay Singha, and Angad Bedi join the cause. This isn’t just a women’s issue — it’s a conversation for everyone. This year, we return with more determination and a stronger community spirit.”

Inspiring Voices Come Together

To announce GoFloRun 2025, Neha Dhupia and Anita Lobo were joined by a host of prominent personalities including Krishna Shroff, Soha Ali Khan, Kritika Kamra, Nataša Stanković, Varun Sood, Angad Bedi, Shibani Dhandekar, Sumukhi Suresh, Simone Khambatta, Harman Singha, and Seema Sajdeh, among others. Together, they emphasized the importance of normalizing conversations about menstruation and breaking taboos through empathy and community.

The event also featured an open discussion on menstrual wellness, where participants shared personal experiences and insights, reinforcing GoFloRun’s mission to create an inclusive and supportive platform that celebrates women and promotes dialogue.

Anita Lobo on the Power of Collective Change

Co-founder Anita Lobo reflected on the journey of GoFloRun, saying,

“GoFloRun is so much more than a run — it’s about awareness, connection, and real impact. The overwhelming participation last year showed how powerful women can be when they come together with purpose. This year, GoFloRun 2025 will reach even more women, spark more conversations, and continue our mission of empowerment. We’re deeply grateful to Stayfree for supporting and amplifying this movement.”

Stayfree: Redefining Period Conversations

Supriya Srinivasa, Marketing Director at Stayfree, expressed the brand’s commitment to changing how society views menstruation:

“At Stayfree, our goal is to normalize period conversations and ensure no girl feels shame or fear about her body. Partnering with GoFloRun allows us to transform a simple run into a powerful platform for dialogue and awareness. It’s truly inspiring to see thousands unite to remind the world that menstrual health is not just a women’s issue — it’s a human one. After all, ‘It’s Just a Period!’
