New Delhi : The MATECIA Building Material Exhibition 2025 has officially commenced at the International convention & Expo centre, Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi. This highly anticipated annual event brings together architects, designers, and professionals from the construction and building materials industry to showcase the latest innovations in products and services, while also celebrating the growing role of women in design, architecture, and construction.
The grand inauguration was led by Dr. Kiran Bedi (Former Lt. Governor of Puducherry and Retired IPS Officer), in the presence of Shri Rajesh Mittal (President, FIPPI & CMD, Greenply Industries Ltd.) and Shri N.K. Agarwal (Patron, FIPPI & Chairperson, Action Tesa Group). Also present were Shri M.P. Singh (Director General, FIPPI), along with chairpersons, presidents, and dignitaries from leading companies including Century Plyboards, Merino, Rushil, Dorset, VIRGO, Allied Resins, and many more.
MATECIA 2025 extended a warm welcome to members and leaders from key trade associations including AIPMA, ILMA, NAREDCO, AIPM, AIMMA, NAREDCO MAHI, SIPMA, LMSA, UPPMA, HPMA, SOPMA, AFMT, KTA, AIPLI, among others.
The day also witnessed landmark moments, including an LOA signing between WADE ASIA and India Vision Foundation .Dr. Kiran Bedi addressed the gathering on “Business with Ethics, Working without Fear”, urging professionals to embrace honesty, fearlessness, and confidence—especially women in design and construction.
According to Ms. Verticaa Dvivedi, co-founder, The Matecia Exhibition, “On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, WADE ASIA is celebrating by supporting the uninterrupted education of five girls for the next ten years, in collaboration with India Vision Foundation.
This year’s exhibition spans 500,000 sq. ft. with 450+ exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge building materials, decorative surfaces, interior products, and technologies. It is hosting over 73,000 visitors from 600+ towns across India and 20+ countries worldwide.
