Lakhimpur Bhira Range: New Eco-Tourism Circuit Welcomes Visitors for Enhanced Forest Experience

A new eco-tourism circuit has been set up in Lakhimpur Kheri, UP, within the Bhira Range of the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve Buffer Zone, and will officially open to tourists starting November 7. This circuit promises an enriched experience for visitors with well-prepared facilities.

Dudhwa Tiger Reserve’s FD Shares Details

Lalit Kumar Verma, the Field Director of Dudhwa Tiger Reserve, revealed that the maintenance work, including cleaning and scaffolding of the forest route within Chak Beat of Bhira Range, has been completed. The upcoming eco-tourism season will be inaugurated by Dr. Arun Kumar Saxena, the State Minister for Forest, Environment, and Climate Change, on November 7.

A Destination for National and International Tourists

The new circuit begins at Chak Barrier in the Bhira Range and continues through the forest, culminating at Jhadital after a 35-km journey. Tourists will experience the lush greenery, encounter rare wildlife, and enjoy the vibrant scene of migratory birds at Jhadital.

Wildlife and Bird Watching Highlights

Dudhwa National Park has also reopened for the season, attracting wildlife enthusiasts from across the globe. Open until June, the park is a prime spot for sighting rare bird species and diverse wildlife, making it a popular destination for nature lovers.

The Bhira Range eco-tourism circuit is expected to draw visitors from far and wide, enhancing the area’s appeal as it opens to the public today.
