Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has released a notification for recruitment to the post of Trade Apprentices. As per the short notification, the application process will begin tomorrow, 15th September 2025, and will continue until 16th October 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website – powergrid.in. Applicants must check eligibility criteria before submitting their forms.
Who Can Apply?
Candidates with qualifications such as 10th, ITI, BE/B.Tech, B.Sc, or Diploma in relevant fields are eligible to apply for this recruitment. The minimum age requirement is not less than 18 years.

No offline mode of application will be accepted.
There is no application fee for any category; candidates can apply free of cost.
Required Documents
Applicants need to upload scanned copies of the following documents:
NATS/NAPS apprenticeship registration/enrollment number and updated profile.
Educational certificates and mark sheets.
Age proof (Matriculation certificate, Aadhaar Card, Passport, etc.).
Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) in the prescribed Government of India format (if applicable).
Cancelled cheque/passbook first page (DBT-enabled account details).
Recent passport-size photograph and signature.
Selection Process – No Exam or Interview
Selection will be made purely on the basis of educational qualifications. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification (DV) by PGCIL. The final merit list will be prepared after DV, and selected candidates will be appointed to the available posts. The apprenticeship period will be 12 months (1 year).
